Welcome to Glass Art SocietyThe Glass Art Society (GAS) is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1971 whose purpose is to encourage excellence, to advance education, to promote the appreciation and development of the glass arts, and to support the worldwide community of artists who work with glass. GAS members are artists, students, educators, collectors, gallery and museum personnel, writers, and critics, among others. GAS is constantly working to add new member benefits. Recently, a second car discount program has been added with Alamo Rent A Car, and we have also added a mass merchant discount program.

Effective December 1, 2009, GAS Membership dues increase.
Additionally, there have been some changes in the membership categories - benefits have been added, and the $15 mailing fee for international members has been removed. Membership Costs: $40 Full-Time Student (copy of current Student ID required) $70 Individual $120 Sponsor $275 Corporate $500 Patron $1000 Benefactor Low student fees are subsidized in part by the Sy Kamens Educational Fund. Unused benefits expire with membership and are not transferable to renewal for the following year.
