17th Annual Goblet Grab

Friday, June 3, Noon - 1:30 pm
(begins promptly at noon)


The Goblet Grab is an annual fundraiser held during each GAS conference. This year's proceeds will be used to assist Japanese glass artists recover from destruction caused by the March earthquake and tsunami.

The fast-paced, spontaneous Goblet Grab is an event full of excitement and fun!

Contribute to the Goblet Grab by donating a drinking glass and be entered to win one free full-conference pass for the GAS 2012 Toledo, Ohio conference.

How to donate:

1. Create a goblet, mug, tumbler or some kind of drinking glass.
2. Price it at $50, $100, $150, or $200.
3. Hand deliver your drinking vessel (packed for carryout) and drop it off at the Goblet Grab receiving and preview area:
Sheraton Hotel - Madrona room
Wednesday, June 1, 12 pm - 5pm
Thursday, June 2, 9 am - 12 pm
Friday, June 3, 8:30 am - 10:30 am
4. Repeat! Multiple donations are gladly accepted.

Not attending the conference or prefer to ship?
Ship donations at your own expense to arrive in Seattle by June 1st. Include a completed 2011 Goblet Grab Donation by Mail Form for each drinking vessel and ship to the following address:

Please insure your package and indicate that it must be signed for. Remember that GAS members receive a shipping discount with FedEx Office. Shipped work must be received in Seattle by June 1, 2011.
