GASnews, the Glass Art Society newsletter, is published online four times a year for all members (approx. 2,000). Each issue is interactive, allowing visitors to click on your ads and be directed straight to your website. Corporate-, Patron-, and Benefactor-level GAS members receive 10% off one 1/2-column ad per membership per year.
A GAS classified ad announces glass art-related news, job openings, scholarships, calls to artists, items for sale, exhibitions, events, etc.
WHERE DO GAS CLASSIFIED ADS APPEAR?
Classified ads appear on a members-only page at www.glassart.org. All listings remain on the GAS website indefinitely in chronological order. New classified ads are included in the Weekly Digest email, which goes out to GAS members every Sunday morning. You may only list your ad in the Weekly Digest one time per month.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Classified ads are free to current GAS members and $25 for non-members. If you are purchasing an ad, please fill out the Reservation Form and send it to the GAS office via mail or fax. Email your ad as a WORD doc attachment or plain-text e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with the words CLASSIFIED AD in the subject line. PDFs and HTML e-mails will not be accepted. GAS reserves the right to refuse or edit ads. Please note: listings in the Weekly Digest will be cut off at 1,000 characters with a link to “read more” on the GAS website. In addition to the text, you may include up to 4 jpeg images.

News - i.e. appointment of new staff members, museum acquisitions, innovations in the glass field

Announcements about your Facebook page, new website, etc. The GAS Member Directory is a great resource for sharing your contact information, links to social media pages, and images of your work.
Publication or exhibition reviews
General advertising for your business (products, services, etc.). We offer a number of paid advertising opportunities to help you reach your target audience.
The annual GAS Journal documents the lectures, presentations and proceedings of the conference, and has become a record showing the progress and evolution of the artists that have created the phenomenon of the contemporary glass movement. It is collected by libraries and organizations around the world and is mailed to all current members (and to those who attended the conference). Back issues are ordered throughout the year. It is also available for download and viewing on the GAS website. Tech Display vendors receive a 10% discount for Journal advertising (must have participated at most recent conference).
GAS Website Ads
GAS web ads appear on many key webpages on our website. Limited to six, ads scroll continuously. Readers may click through to the URL of your choice. You may provide either an ad or simply your logo. Please contact about currently available Web Ad spaces.
Marketplace is designed to put glass resources front and center, easy to find and easy to use. It is open to those providing services, equipment, and supplies to glass artists, including publications and organizations. Marketplace ads run November through October, but can be pro-rated for those who have missed the beginning of the cycle.
All conference delegates receive this vital booklet of 80–100 pages that contains the conference schedule, presentation abstracts, presenter bios, Technical Display information, and more. The Program Book only allows for 8 pages of advertising. (Not included in this figure are messages from our sponsors.) Ads may be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Glass Art Society “Bag Insert” program offers the opportunity to provide promotional collateral for distribution to all conference delegates via the conference tote bag for $500. Bag inserts are typically one-sheet flyers or single postcards. There are some restrictions. Production of promotional collateral is the responsibility of the advertiser. The quantity required varies from year to year, between 800 and 2,000. Deadline: May 5, 2017
