GASnews: The Glass Art Society Newsletter

To reserve an ad in the newsletter, please print and fax (206-382-2630) or mail in a signed 2010 GASnews Advertising Reservation Form.

GASnews is created six times a year for all members of the Glass Art Society (approx. 3,200). As of the March 2010 issue, all subsequent issues will be online versions only.

Each issue will be interactive, allowing visitors to click on ad and be directed to the companies website. In the coming issues, we plan to add slide show and video capabilities. Members will be able to view the newsletter online, and/or download the publication in PDF format in the Members' Only section of the GAS website.

Corporate, Patron and Benefactor level GAS members receive 15% off one Full Column page ad per membership per year.

Reservations: Ad reservations are made based on availability, as space is limited. To reserve an ad, you may download a form from the GAS website, or contact the GAS office.

GAS Online Directory & Resource Guide

The GAS Online Resource Guide and Membership Directory is officially an online-only publication as of 2010. This 'yellow pages'-type directory is a reference that is used year-round, and includes all GAS Member contact information, and the ads for the manufacturers, suppliers, galleries, publications, schools, etc. that are important to you.

Similar to GASnews, visitors to the advertisement section will be able to click on each ad and be directed to the advertisers' websites. Resource Guide advertisers receive 10% off Journal advertising. Technical Display participants receive a 1/2 page Resource Guide ad as part of their package; full page upgrades are available for Technical Display participants (contact the GAS office for information on Technical Display.) Publication will be available online in September 2010.

If you represent a school or gallery, manufactur products related to glass art, or publish for the glass artist, collector, critic or curator, placing a half-page or full-page ad in this publication is a great opportunity to gain visibility for your program or product in a reference guide that will be used year-round by all GAS members. You do not need to attend the GAS conference to advertise in the Resource Guide.

GAS is in the process of updating its advertising prices. Please check back to download the GAS Membership Directory and Resource Guide Reservation Form. For more information, please contact Kate Dávila, Communications Manager at 206-382-1305 or kate@glassart.org

For advertising rates and specifications, check out the 2010 Ad Specs Form.
