I am an artist working primarily in hot glass. I set off in late 2011 on a journey that would transform my life. Over the course of a couple of years as I traveled around the US with all my belongings in the back of my little pickup truck (You can read all about the adventures on my blog at www.madeinchinastudio.blogspot.com). I have since moved out of the truck, and am working as the 3D Studio Technician at Georgia Southwestern State University. I still travel and teach workshops, as well as create custom commission work, but for the time being have a home base here in Southern Georgia.
Specialties: I specialize in working collaboratively with individuals or small groups to foster creativity in a variety of media. My current focus is teaching workshops showcasing all aspects of mold blowing hot glass. The workshops are designed to empower the participants, and give them confidence to try new things with glass in the spirit of pure exploration.
