Mauro Bonaventura was born in Venice in 1965.
Graduated in electronics, in 1983, approaches to curiosity in the world of glass, starting to work in a furnace of Venice where he learns the techniques of blowing and glass decoration.
Nine years later, in 1992, he abandoned the furnace and focuses all energy on lampworking, which became his first and only employment.
However, Mauro had an urgent need to satisfy his creative pursuits in the field of sculpturing work.
In order to achieve this aim, in 1999 he enrolled in the Art School in Venice where in 2003 he obtained the second diploma.
His works are in Corning Museum of glass and in other galleries and museum all over the world
