The deeper I dive into the art of glass, the more I become fascinated with the material’s beauty. Glass is solid but fragile, dense but fluid. It hovers between the concrete world, and the world of light. Much like a living organism, glass contains contradictions, yet maintains harmony and balance. For these reasons, my work as a glass artist is rooted in a profound desire to explore the material as a subject matter.
Glass is my creative partner. I consider myself an artist, but also an explorer. Although my process is sparked by an idea, it is the anticipation of a discovery that propels me in unpredictable directions. This intuitive process produces rich and organic pieces, a surprise of details, textures, and nuances that underlines the fathomless beauty of life surrounding us.
