ABOUT

Amy Waldman-Smith has been making glass beads since 2001. She has been regularly teaching lampwork techniques in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since 2003. Waldman-Smith also teaches intermediate and advanced glassworking classes across Canada and the United States at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass and other private glass studios. She is largely self-taught, and continues to study art and glassmaking. Waldman-Smith served as the Regional Director for Canada for the ISGB for two terms (2007–2009 and 2011-2013). Her beads have been in exhibits and venues across North America, and her work has been featured in Glass Line Magazine, The Flow Magazine, 1000 Glass Beads, and numerous others.
