Writer/Critique, Annie Buckley ......Professor John Leighton has been an educator and an artist who works with glass for nearly 40 years. He is glass program coordinator at California State University, Fullerton. John’s cast glass, mixed media sculpture and blown glass work is exhibited in private galleries and in many private and public collections including the Smithsonian Institution, The Corning Museum, the Oakland Museum, as well as museums in Denmark, the Czech Republic and Japan. John has completed major architectural glass commissions, designed and built his own home, studio and a 20-foot sailboat! John is a past president, and honorary life time member of the Glass Art Society.
