My art is a hybrid vestige of mind and feeling, articulated at the level of emotive evocations, experience transposed into colour, paint and glass, creating dreamlike segmentation, lucid storylines fractured and reassembled as an abstract form. I have often found myself at odds with time, so that is why I chose moments and memories for my art. I immortalise in glass, and in my earlier incarnations paint, these fragmentary emotions that would have otherwise been forgotten. I'm often seduced by the qualities that hot glass possesses when hot and cool. Something of which I feel lends its self incredibly well to my style of work.I do not seek to have a singular line of development with my work. I aim to instead stimulate my audience with my intellectual pieces. I hope to provoke more emotive, curious audience responses within my work.
