Originally from Denver, Chuck started working with glass in 1989. With a background in computer science, mathematics, he received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, and a MFA from Alfred University. Since 1994 Chuck has been involved with Plichuck as a student, summer staff member, teaching assistant, Emerging Artist in Residence, Centerpiece Designer, Instructor, and Pilchuck was where he first saw the full potential of glass. Chuck’s work was selected for inclusion in New Glass Review, 2002 and 2007. Chuck resides in Seattle, where continues to make art and work at Pratt Fine Arts Center.
