Glass lets me express in a way no other material could, lending its own movement and temperament to a design, creating work that progresses during the making process leaving me with a piece that fits into my puzzle. This material lets me live in the moment, one hundred percent focused on just one thing, an escape from the world around me. It is both soothing and exhilarating working with such a demanding yet rewarding material. My pieces show my obsession with negative space and smaller details within a larger aesthetic.
I work assisting resident artists at The Living Arts Center (Mississauga, Ontario) and The Red Barns (Picton, Ontario). Have done commission works for Ana Teran Interiors (Toronto), and participated in and installation for Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus.
