Kristin Galioto joined the Glass Art Society in April 2012. She was born in Burlington, Vermont, and raised in Kirkland, Washington. In 2006, Kristin received a bachelor’s in fine arts, focusing on drawing and painting, from Washington State University. Soon after graduation, she moved to Chicago to earn a master’s in arts management (MAM) from Columbia College Chicago. While living in the Windy City, she volunteered for multiple arts organizations, including the Arts of Life and Packer Schopf Gallery. She was also the Collections Assistant at the Fashion Columbia Study Collection (FCSC), where she curated an exhibition titled, Spirals of Indigo. In the spring of 2010, Kristin moved back to Seattle to be closer to family and friends. She worked for a contemporary art gallery in Pioneer Square for a little over a year, and then decided to seek a career in the non-profit sector.
