In May 2014, Abram Deslauriers completed his MFA in Glassworking at VCUarts in Richmond, VA. After graduation, he relocated to Seattle, WA to establish his professional practice and currently works at Pilchuck Glass School as the Operations Assistant. Deslauriers’ work titled [insert title], travelled in the Bullseye Emerge/Evolve 2014 show, with the largest version currently on view at the Bellevue Arts Museum—east side of Seattle, WA. This work spurred the accumulation of glass, Mass of Black, that exhibited as part of Deslauriers’ thesis and in the 2014 Stanislav Libensky Award Show in Prague, Czech Republic.
