With a penchant for quality in production and an eye for detail, Max Yule is a creative force to be reckoned with. A self-proclaimed perfectionist and entrepreneur, Max plans to further merge his taste for precision with the expanding world of glass art and craft as he moves forward in his career.
As a student in an intensive fifteen-week program at Fleming College’s Haliburton campus, Max earned an Ontario College certificate, having completed nearly 600 hours of hands-on studio time. In the Spring of 2016, Max will have also earned a 3-year diploma in Craft & Design – Glass Art, specializing in borosilicate flameworking.
No stranger to the artistic community, Max has worked as an instructor at Toronto Flameworking Technologies since 2014. Recently, having gotten a taste demoing at corporate events, Max plans on exploring his technical love of glass and making glasswork more mainstream and accessible.
Moving forward, Max is opening his own glass studio for likeminded artists, MY Glass Studio, which will offer flameworking, glassblowing, classes and custom glass fabrication. He hopes to find a balance between his passion for glass and sustainable way to facilitate the evolution of the arts.
