How do I register with the GAS website?

To register with the GAS website, please click here or on the sign in link above.

Please fill out the form, and click the create your profile at the bottom.  Your user name is your email address.  Please keep in mind the username and password are "case sensitive". This means to enter the site again you will sign in using your username and password and make sure where you used capital letters they must be repeated exactly.

You will receive an email to confim that you are registered with our site.

Please allow 24 hours (or next business day if signing up on a weekend) in order to gain full access to the Members Only Section.  This allows GAS staff to gain notice and verify that you are a current paid member and they can check off the approval for access to the Members Only section of the website.

I can't login using my username and password.  What can I do?

Our new website is more secure, which can make logging in a little more difficult.  If you type in an incorrect password, the website will lock you out of the system for one hour.  Even if you reset your password, you will still be locked out of the system, so it will seem as if those passwords do not work.

Try following these steps to get a new password:

1. Go to: https://www.glassart.org/login.html?returnurl=myaccount.html and enter your email address.
   
2. You will receive an email from  with a subject of Your new password.  Copy the password.
   
3. Go to the sign in link: http://www.glassart.org/members_only/
   Type in your email address, and paste the temporary password.
   
4. You should get to a Welcome Back page that has your name and choice to update your profile and Change your password.  We suggest that you change your password at this time to one that you are familiar with. You can do this in the My Profile link on the menu bar.
   

Remember that the system is very sensitive, which is why we recommend that you cut & paste the temporary password to login. Please contact the Glass Art Society if you continue to have problems so we can notify the webmaster.

How do I post a message on the message board?

The Message Board is for GAS Members and is now accessed in the Members Only Section.  If you would like to become a GAS member please click here to Join Online.  Go here to learn more about GAS membership.

To post your listing on the message board by following these steps:

1. Go to the Member Login box in the upper right hand corner of this website, and sign in using the email address and password you used when you registered with the website.
   
2. Click on Forums.
   
3. Choose which area you would like to post your item, and click the "New Post" link on the upper left hand corner just below the Forum description.
   
4. Enter the title of your topic, the text in the box below that, click the Post New Topic button at the bottom of the page.
