Call for GAS Board of Directors NominationsThe Glass Art Society BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEED YOU! An opportunity to help lead The Glass Art Society, an organization dedicated to furthering the development of glass art in all forms is a notable professional and personal achievement. By serving on the GAS Board, you can expect to work hard, get results and have an enriching experience. Board members devote their time, energy, and ideas to lead the organization forward and in turn, lead the glass art community to greater success. If you possess a breadth of experience and vision with an interest in assisting the Glass Art Society or if you would like to nominate someone who can provide the critical leadership skills, contact Pamela Koss at or Shane Fero at or download the GAS Board of Directors Nomination Form (pdf). GAS by-laws state that the Board of Directors must be comprised of 75% practicing artists. Your recommendations will be carefully considered by the Nominations Committee in order to present a well-rounded slate to the GAS Board for approval. The Board carefully considers specific needs to present a balanced slate of nominees. Geography, medium, current position in the glass community are all factors considered in this process. After further consideration, the GAS Board will then create a ballot to be voted on by the entire GAS membership.
