Collectors Tours

--COLLECTORS TOUR--$1,200 per person (No opening at this time)

Limited space available. Requires additional fee. Conference pass NOT included.

This special multi-day tour of St. Petersburg and Sarasota provides a behind-the-scenes look into the homes of several Florida-based glass collectors.  Whether you are interested in collecting artwork yourself or want an exclusive look at the collections of others, the Collectors Tour is always an annual conference favorite! Transportation and meal costs included.  Please note that some of the tours may conflict with regularly scheduled Conference events.

Additional stops on the Collectors Tour include the Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion and the Richard & Barbara Basch Visual Arts Center.

In January 2018, the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida revealed the new contemporary Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion. It is the entrance to a 5,500-square foot space and the new Studio Glass Museum Wing which showcases the museums expanded glass collection. It is also a gathering space for the historic theater.

The new Richard & Barbara Basch Visual Arts Center is designed and built to accommodate hands-on fabrication and art-making with its facilities for glass (hot shop and cold shop), woodworking, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and digital fabrication.  While the exterior is visually stunning, the interior is designed for robust use--maximizing space, equipment, and collaboration.  A gallery allows for exhibitions and activities that celebrate the work and production of both emerging and established artists.
