GAS offers discounted membership for part-time and full-time students
($40 USD) enrolled in at least one course at an accredited, degree-granting high school, college, or university. Special opportunities are offered just for student members throughout the year. Proof of student status is required when joining.

Student Representative to the GAS Board of Directors
The Student Representative to the Glass Art Society Board is a vital position and we encourage all full-time, college-level student members enrolled for the full school year to apply by self-nomination supported by two references. The Student Representative serves as the primary intermediary between student members of the Glass Art Society and general membership (as represented by the current GAS Board). An excellent professional development opportunity, this position plays an important role in communicating the benefits of GAS membership to students interested in art made with glass. Next deadline to apply is October 17, 2016.
Become a GAS Student Liaison
The Glass Art Society recognizes one Student Liaison per accredited school annually to represent the students and professors for that school. Learn more and sign up to become a liaison.
GAS provides two special opportunities for current student members to have their work featured in exhibitions.
International Student Exhibition at the GAS Conference:
Student members of GAS who are registered for the annual conference can display their artwork on site in the conference city! Eligible students must be members of GAS and currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program. The Thesis Shelf
GAS members are graduating from MFA and PhD programs all year long. In an effort to help disseminate the knowledge these students have gathered in their theses, GAS began making select academic papers available to GAS members online. View the Thesis Shelf
