As our world becomes smaller it becomes increasingly important that we begin to understand one another's historical and cultural traditions. This #GASFilmFriday we proudly present highlights from the 1998 GAS Conference in Seto, Japan. Japan has a rich history and traditions in fine craft along with more contemporary expressions in glass art. This conference program is full of diversity as the multicultural membership of the Glass Art Society. The official language of this gathering is "glass," the silent ambassador that as we all know can build bridges between people of diverse cultures.
