Robin Rogers, a native of Central Ohio, is a perpetual student of art and life. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design, 1998, and a Master of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, 2008; his research continues in daily practice.
Since first working with glass in 1995, Robin has been continually engaged with the fascinating material. Blowing/sculpting molten glass and sharing his knowledge by teaching others are important focuses in his life. Robin has worked with scores of artists in dozens of studios across the nation.
He currently lives and makes his work in Virginia and often collaborates with his wife Julia Rogers.
Robin is the Glass Studio Manager and Program Director at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, VA. He is also co-owner of Nomadic Glass.
