I have always been fascinated with brilliant, jewel like color. Glass kiln fused onto burnished copper captures the magic of light, color and depth like no other medium I know whether it is glowing sunset, the magnificence of rain and light in the forest or the mystery of nebulae.
The Arts are my lifelong passion. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Illinois, I studied Copper Enameling with Richard Loving at the Art Institute of Chicago. A Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Northwestern University in 1978 completed my formal arts education.
Since moving to Tucson, AZ in 2000 I have been creating commissions for residential, commercial, health installations. It has been my honor to have my work featured at the 2019 Glass Conference at the Morean Art Museum in St. Petersburgh, FL, SOFA Chicago 2014-17, the Architectural Digest New York and Palm Beach Fine Art Shows.
