Pavlína Čambalová studied gem cutting and engraving at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Turnov, Czech Republic. She had a chance to try glass engraving at the Symposium of Applied Arts Schools. Čambalová fell in love with glass, and studied Art Glass at the Higher Glass School in Nový Bor. She worked for the Lobmeyr Company in Vienna, Austria for 8 years, turning to freelance in 2016. In her engraved objects, she has used various engraving techniques and combinations of materials. In 2011, Čambalová co-taught with Jiří Harcuba in Bild-Werk Frauenau, Germany. She taugh also in Sázava, CZ and The Studio, Corning, NY. She founded the School of Jiří Harcuba in 2014, organizing engraving workshops at different places (Sazava, Kamenicky Senov,CZ, Frauenau,D).
