As an avid fan of frozen treats, Gayle Forman seems to gravitate toward things that melt, spill, and generally make a mess. As an artist and designer her studio practice and research focuses on play, imagination, the absurd and the everyday. The work is realized as performance, video, photography, installation and sculpture. Continuing her studies in glass from the Pittsburgh Glass Center in her hometown, Gayle received her BFA in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2014. Currently located in Norfolk, VA, Gayle is the Program Assistant and Staff Instructor at the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio, Exhibition Coordinator at Work|Release, and a resident artist at Glass Wheel Studios.
