My interest in glass began at a stained glass studio in New Orleans, Louisiana where I taught classes, designed and built glass projects, and sold retail glass supplies. During that time I also worked on commissions and repaired antique pieces.
While working on an art degree at Tulane University, I enjoyed glass blowing for several semesters.
I have also attended flame-working courses at "The Corning Museum of Glass"
Kiln work and fusing came next. After working with fused glass for a couple of years, I went to Mornico, Italy to study "Light Painting Technique" under Miriam Di Fiore.
As a glass artist, I have been a member of a cooperative art gallery for several years.
