Celebrating 40 years as a professional glass artist, I've worked in many facets of this creative industry. As part of the Bromley "Glass Art" family, my life included opening and operating 24 retail studios along the east coast of the USA, along with a full service Atlanta based custom Glass Art studio and a fully stocked 35,000 sq ft warehouse from 1979-1987. After leaving the family business to strike out on my own, I landed in Clearwater, Florida and have enjoyed my original studio location for the past 30 plus years. I have taught, trained and employed hundreds of artists in that time and continue to help direct new and emerging artists in the areas of traditional painted and leaded glass, copper foil, sculptural 3-d art glass, lamp working and objet d'art. I like to include kiln working-glass fusing, and mosaics into my studio pieces to bring traditional values into our modern and contemporary designs. Maintaining the history of glass has always been a passion of mine. This is shown by my continued choice to undertake as much historical repair and restoration as possible into the studio. I work in all areas, residential, commercial and ecclesiastical, but the work I've completed for hospital chapels and hospice homes remain as some of my most joyous and favored studio installations.
