The Glass Art Society is dedicated to lending a helping hand to our members to offset the negative effects brought about by the spread of and resulting quarantine situations of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

If you are an independent artist, freelance glassworker, or small business that is experiencing the negative effects of this international disaster, you may be eligible for a GAS emergency assistance grant. Applicants MUST be current GAS members and cannot be students, large businesses, institutions, or non-profit organizations. Applicants DO NOT need to be from the United States to apply; this is an international grant open to GAS members in any country. Funds are given as emergency assistance grants.

Examples of what the GAS Emergency Relief Fund can help to cover include, but are not limited to:

  • Income loss
  • Canceled orders
  • Medical costs
  • Shop closures
