Funding to attend the Conference
Each year, the Glass Art Society recognizes the achievements and potential of student members currently enrolled in accredited, degree-granting programs. Applications are evaluated by a professional jury, and selected students are awarded scholarships to support them in their goal to learn, connect, and grow as artists at the annual GAS conference.
- The Glass Art Society offers several general college-level student scholarships of $1000 USD each year.
Becky Winship Flameworking Scholarship: One award of $1,000 USD will be given to an eligible student applicant whose work uses flameworking techniques. Generously funded by David Winship and Lisa Bieber of Glasscraft, Inc.
Takako Sano Scholarship: Students living outside of the United States are eligible for assistance through the Takako Sano Scholarship Fund. One award of $1000 USD will be given.
