Register for Parking: 

Parking permits are required on UTA campus at all times. Follow these steps to register your car for parking on the UTA campus: 

  1. Follow the link: https://utarlington.aimsparking.com/permits/?cmd=new_event
  2. Select “Third Party Event”
  3. Select “Glass Art Society Conference”
  4. Enter voucher code:GAS25
  5. Select permit type “(EVT-COMP) Fac/Staff Surface Lots”
  6. Select the active date
  7. Add vehicle info and confirm

Shuttle Information:


The GAS Shuttle will travel in a loop between the Crowne Plaza Arlington and the UTA Campus, with stops at the University Center and the Studio Arts Center. UTA’s MavMoover shuttles will also be available to transport attendees between conference venues and parking locations on the UTA campus. See campus map for shuttle stop locations.

On Tuesday night, a shuttle will run between the Crowne Plaza and SiNaCa Studios for the Firestarter Fundraiser. On Thursday, an additional shuttle is available for a $10 fee to get attendees to and from the Fort Worth Gallery Hop and Cultural District Night, with stops at the Crowne Plaza, the Kimbell Art Museum, and SiNaCa Studios. Shuttle departure times will be provided to all shuttle ticket holders.
 
Friday evening, the shuttle will add a stop to Grey Area from 5 to 9:30 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, on-site registration will take place in the Palo Duro lounge at UTA’s University Center beginning Wednesday, May 14. A four-day pass will cost $535 at the door with no discounts available. 

An official GAS Conference pass is required to enter most conference programs. If you lose your badge, please go to the Registration Desk at the University Center to replace your badge at a cost of $50.

Cancellations between November 11, 2024 and February, 29, 2025, will be refunded in full (100% of the total paid minus a $50 processing fee). Cancellations between March 1 and March 31, 2025, will be partially refunded (50% of the total paid minus a $50 processing fee). Cancellations April 1, 2025, or later, are not eligible for refunds. In the event that gatherings in the cities of Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas, become restricted beyond our ability to host a conference, we will contact all registrants with updated conference plans. Refunds will then be issued to all eligible registrants minus a $50 administrative processing fee. Eligible registrants will also have the option to take their refund in the form of a GAS credit or to give their refund as a donation directly to GAS.

If you have a four-day conference pass, a Closing Night Party ticket is included with that pass. If you don’t have a four-day pass or wish to bring guests with you, you’ll need to purchase Closing Night Party tickets for $50/ticket at Registration.
