The position is in person, located at Camp Chateaugay in Upstate New York, in the Adirondack’s. It is a premier co-ed sleep-away camp for children ages 7-17, is seeking a skilled glass blowing assistant for summer 2026. It is a 2 month residence position from 10th of June through August 12th 2026 in Upstate New York.
Camp Chateaugay is looking for a skilled glass-blowing instructor with experience doing flame work and/or working with gloryholes to join our vibrant team. Thrive in a picturesque setting in the Adirondack mountains, teaching enthusiastic kids aged between 7-17 for on average 5 hour classes each day (expect for days off etc). Embrace hands-on creativity using our state-of-the-art studio, equipped with a 200-pound furnace, torches and top-notch facilities. Enjoy a competitive salary ($3000-4000) depending on experience. Room & board and all meals are includes, plus travel expenses. In your spare time you can blow glass for your own projects, free of charge.
