LIGHT EXHIBITION
GAS MEMBER LIGHT EXHIBITION
Showcasing GAS members who combine glass and light in their work, this exhibition will take place outside in Corning’s Gaffer District and be a key feature of our Friday night community activities during the Corning 2026 Conference.

THE 100 MOMENTS PROJECT
SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MOSAIC ARTISTS + STAINED GLASS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA EXHIBITION
SAMA, SGAA, GAS, and ISGB Members are invited to create a 6” x 6” work from one of two project frame kit options:
- The Mosaic Panel Kit will include one 6″ x 6″ EZframe with substrate and hanging hardware.
- The Glass Panel Kit will include pre-cut zinc framing and hanging hardware for a 6” x 6” soldered square and template.
We are not limiting the number of participants, but we will restrict each artist to one panel. Participation is exclusive to all active SAMA, SGAA, GAS, and ISGB Members.
MIDDAY INTERACTIVE PROGRAMMING
Each day of the conference from 12 to 2 pm, our Midday Interactive Programming will center on the following themes: Education, Professional Development and Sustainability. Join us for research presentations, education program information sessions, discussion groups, portfolio review and more!

Glass Fashion Show
Organized by the fabulous Laura Donefer, the legendary Glass Fashion Show makes its triumphant return to the GAS Conference! Watch dozens of glassy creations take the stage in a show-stopping fashion show on Saturday, June 6, 2026. More information on the Glass Fashion Show will be coming soon!
Goblet Grab
Always fast-paced and full of entertainment, the Goblet Grab is a fun and funky conference tradition that never fails to generate excitement! Open to the public during the conference, donations and purchases from this free event help us to support GAS Loves Students and our free student membership program. You can pre-register your goblet donation beginning November 10.
Portfolio Review
Gallery owners, curators, educators and artists will be available to review portfolios of GAS conference attendees. Reviews will last 20-25 minutes each, and a limited number of slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who sign-up online. If necessary a waiting list will be kept in case of cancellations. Stay tuned–our list of portfolio reviewers and the sign up sheet will be available closer to the conference.
Sparkle To Go: GAS Jewelry Trunk Show
All that glitters is glass! Enjoy shopping at our boutique of handmade glass jewelry. Support your fellow artists, find a fabulous new statement piece, and save room in your luggage! Jewelry makers: applications to be part of our Jewelry Trunk Show will open on November 10. In order to participate as a vendor, you must be a GAS member and will receive 50% off your standard 4-day conference pass as a thank you.

Film Festival
Lights, camera, action: watch glassy films from around the world during our 2026 Film Festival!
Glass artists and filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit films of any length for screenings, which will take place both in-person and virtually. In-person screenings will occur in tandem with the annual GAS Conference (June 3–6, 2026 in Corning, NY), the International Festival of Glass (August 27–31, 2026 in St. Helens, UK), and Refract Seattle in partnership with the Seattle International Film Festival (October 2026). The call for submissions has closed; stay tuned for information on this year’s GAS Film Festival coming in April!

YOU REALLY TURN ME ON

“You Really Turn Me On” is a group exhibition centered on glass and light, bringing together artists working across disciplines. On view at Hand + Foot, a restaurant in Corning’s downtown, the show invites encounters between art and everyday experience during GlassFest and the GAS conference.
Accessibility: Venue has a ramp to enter and accessible restrooms. On-street and metered parking is available.
The Fifth Annual CMoG Flame Collab
Corning Museum of Glass, 1 Museum Way, Corning, NY 14830
Sunday, May 31–Thursday, June 4
For the fifth consecutive year, the Corning Museum of Glass will host the CMoG FlameCollab with top flameworkers, including Sibelle Yuksek, Adrienne DiSalvo, and Nicole Berger. These guest artists will collaborate on a creative, compositional sculpture, employing advanced flameworking techniques, such as complex assembly of hollow forms and finely detailed solid sculptural elements.
This spectacular piece will incorporate each artist’s individual style to produce a seamlessly blended idea. The design is completely new to the artists, with the concept emerging in full as they work through it.

The Black Magic of Casting Workshop with Alex Fresch and Carrie Strope

Learn to create repeatable, highly detailed glass elements using the freeze and fuse technique. This 3-day workshop blends mold making, powders, kiln work, and collaboration across hot shop, flameworking, and kilnforming. Leave with finished pieces and new cross-disciplinary skills.
