Hidden Valley Camp – Freedom, Maine (Residential)

Hidden Valley Camp, a creative and performing arts camp, seeks a skilled and passionate Glass Blowing Assistant Instructor & Camp Counselor for Summer 2026.

Dates: June 13 – August 21, 2026

The Role:

  • Assist in teaching foundational glass blowing and/or flameworking to campers (ages 8-16).
  • Ensure studio safety and organization.
  • Serve as a cabin counselor, mentoring and supervising a group of campers.
  • Actively participate in general camp life and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate strong foundational skills in glass blowing (hot shop) and/or flameworking (lampworking) techniques.
  • Prior experience teaching art or technical skills, particularly to children or adolescents.
  • Genuine passion for education, working with children, and fostering artistic growth in a supportive, non-competitive setting.
