GAS Travels
Looking for another way to get involved with the Glass Art Society? Join GAS Travels—a unique opportunity to explore the world through glass!
Each year, GAS organizes 1-2 major trips for groups of like-minded enthusiasts who share a passion for glass art. Together, we:
- Visit artists in their private studios and homes
- Explore world-class museum and private collections
- Experience the best of local culture and cuisine

Join the GAS Board or a Committee
Serve the global glass community as a volunteer board member. Nominations open at the beginning of each year.

Volunteer via Work Exchange
Have some behind-the-scenes fun while supporting GAS! Each year, we welcome 50–100 Work Exchange participants to help make the conference a success.
By joining Work Exchange, you’ll:
- Save money with a discounted conference pass.
- Get involved and enrich your conference experience.
- Support the community while connecting with artists, educators, and vendors.
Commitment:
- 12 hours of conference assistance.
- Attend one of two 1-hour online training sessions before the event.
Work Exchange registration for the Corning 2026 conference opens September 22 and closes December 31, or once we reach our maximum of 100 Work Exchange registrants.
