Glass Studio Assistant – Job Description
Employment Type: Hourly, Part-Time (20 – 30 hours per week depending on time of year)
Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour
Reports To: Studio Manager / Lead Glassblower
Position Overview
The Glass Studio Assistant supports daily glassblowing production, studio operations, and public-facing
events at epiphany studios. This is a hands-on, physical role in an active hot shop environment and
requires flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of studio life. Must have 3+
years experience blowing glass.
Core Responsibilities
• Assist with glassblowing production and furnace charging
• Perform studio cleaning and trash removal
• Assist with equipment maintenance under supervision
• Support public workshops and private events
• Assist with fulfillment
• Greet guests and answer basic questions
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot, industrial environment
Schedule
• Schedules are created monthly
• One weekend per month
• Some evenings
• Every weekend in December
Benefits and Time Off
Time off from September 1 through December 31 is very limited. Time off may be requested but is subject
to approval based on studio needs.

service. epiphany studios currently pays 50% of the employee premium.
Retirement Plan Eligibility for all employees – starts sixty (60) after first day, governed by the terms of
