Student Representative

We want to hear your voice! Apply for the Annual Student Representative Position – a vital spot on the Board of Directors. The Glass Art Society’s Student Representatives provide an opportunity for two students, one from North America and one from another part of the world, to serve on the Board of Directors and be directly involved in the organization and guiding its future. Student Representatives serve as the primary champions of student projects and are correspondents between student members and the general membership of GAS.

  • Gain real-world experience in nonprofit administration, project management, conference planning, and more.
  • Collaborate with the noted artists, educators, and professionals on the GAS Board of Directors.
  • Boost your resume by organizing student-related projects and initiatives.
  • Get published by contributing regularly to our quarterly GASnews online newsletter.
  • Make a difference by communicating and creating opportunities for students in the field of glass art.

Applications for the Student Rep position and the International Student Rep position are not currently open. Eligibility requirements and further details will be available in Spring 2024.
