Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a world-class glassblowing studio
- Drive artistic vision, innovation, and creative excellence
- Oversee all hot-shop operations, safety standards, and production quality
- Mentor, train, and inspire a multicultural team of artists and technicians
- Conduct live glassblowing demonstrations and interactive guest experiences
- Deliver workshops, classes, and educational sessions for guests
- Develop new collections, artistic concepts, and commercial product lines
- Support studio growth through sales, merchandising, and guest engagement
- Maintain exceptional standards of craftsmanship and customer experience
Requirements Essential
- Minimum 8 years of professional glassblowing experience
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership, supervisory, or senior gaffer role
- Advanced expertise in hot glass techniques and artistic production
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical mastery and creative excellence
- Experience managing a glass studio, workshop, or production environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Preferred
- Experience within hospitality, tourism, cruise, resort, or public demonstration environments
- Teaching, workshop facilitation, or guest engagement experience
- Commercial experience in pricing, merchandising, and selling artwork
- Degree or formal training in Fine Arts, Glass Art, Design, or a related discipline
- Additional language skills
