Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a world-class glassblowing studio
  • Drive artistic vision, innovation, and creative excellence
  • Oversee all hot-shop operations, safety standards, and production quality
  • Mentor, train, and inspire a multicultural team of artists and technicians
  • Conduct live glassblowing demonstrations and interactive guest experiences
  • Deliver workshops, classes, and educational sessions for guests
  • Develop new collections, artistic concepts, and commercial product lines
  • Support studio growth through sales, merchandising, and guest engagement
  • Maintain exceptional standards of craftsmanship and customer experience

Requirements Essential

  • Minimum 8 years of professional glassblowing experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership, supervisory, or senior gaffer role
  • Advanced expertise in hot glass techniques and artistic production
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating technical mastery and creative excellence
  • Experience managing a glass studio, workshop, or production environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Preferred

  • Experience within hospitality, tourism, cruise, resort, or public demonstration environments
  • Teaching, workshop facilitation, or guest engagement experience
  • Commercial experience in pricing, merchandising, and selling artwork
  • Degree or formal training in Fine Arts, Glass Art, Design, or a related discipline
  • Additional language skills
