Lourdes Zenobi

Tell us about yourself.

I am from Buenos Aires Argentina. I had discovered the glass world about 10 years ago, I always love different kind of art, oil painting,  Chinese porcelain, photography or anything that catch my Attention. Always my inspiration was my childhood, my memories,  and since I become a mom: my girls childhood and everything related to them.

What draws you to the material you work with?

What I love of working with glass its their transparency, the depth, the way that the light passes, his cold, and the warmer sensation I can get if I want it. My techniques are focused on different ways of printing. I try to explore the benefits of mixing differents printing methods

What themes do you pursue in your work, and why have you chosen the processes that you use in your work?

My work its about keeping the moments, the ideas: for example by taking photos, they are not just a picture for me, it’s what keeps alive all the feelings that flow inside me at that exact moment (landscape serie). and I think that As every  living being, I am constantly changing, and the same happens to the love ones around me, and the observation of all those changes (spiritually mostly), help me  to discover what is inside of me, and the art make it possible,  it drawing me beyond the surface of what is “real” into mine own inner dimension, this is shown in my butterflies series

What is your dream project?

I would love to create an instalation, made by a lot ot tiny parts, in a public space
