Through programming and outreach Buchanan Arts increases access to meaningful visual art experiences, with a specific focus on serving the North Nashville community.
Job Description:
The Buchanan Arts Studio Director is a member of the core staff team at Buchanan Arts. This position works closely with the Executive Director and Youth Programs + Outreach Coordinator to ensure the safe and efficient daily operations of our 1800 square foot studio located within the Buchanan Street Arts District in Nashville, TN. This position manages studio internships, assistants, fellowship work-exchange participants, and volunteers.
Compensation: $1560/month, $18,720/yr (part-time, salaried) 10-15hrs/week, flexible schedule.
This position has 24/7 access to our fully-equipped 1900 square ft. ceramics studio. It would be ideal for an individual with an established studio practice or business who is interested in participating in a vibrant artistic community.
