Calling all Glass artists!
Blowfish Glass Gallery is partnering with the International Festival of Glass to deliver a new varied programme of events during August 2024.
We are looking for 30 glass artists to showcase their creations at our gallery in Stourbridge from August 23, 2024, to September 23, 2024 as part of our Fifteen x Fifteen exhibition.
The challenge is to create a unique piece of glass art no larger than 15cm³. We encourage submissions across all glass processes, from Flameworking and Hot Sculpting to Pâte-de-Verre and Stained Glass. This compact format encourages an exciting opportunity to experiment with new ideas and techniques to push the limits of your artistic vision.
Fifteen x Fifteen marks our founding role in the new Glass Legacy Association Stourbridge (GLAS). Alongside our exhibition, we will host an opening event featuring demonstrations by ten renowned glass artists.
This exhibition provides a fantastic opportunity to display your artwork in a historic setting at Blowfish Glass Gallery, located within the Red House Glass Cone units. We anticipate a large number of visitors during the opening event, which coincides with the International Festival of Glass 2024. Take this chance to present your artistic vision to a dedicated audience of collectors and glass enthusiasts.

- Blowfish Gallery takes a 40% commission on all sales.
- The Artist is responsible for sending the work to the gallery

- The gallery is responsible for returning the artwork to the artist if it is unsold.
- We have a loose price bracket for Gallery Prices from £250-£2500.
Important Information:
- Submission Deadline: Thursday, May 30th, 2024, 12 AM BST.
- The exhibition is open from Friday, 23rd August 2024, to Monday, 23rd September 2024.
- International Artists are encouraged to use DHL or FedEx to ship artwork.
- Mark shipments as “Temporary Export/Exhibition Loan Items” for exhibition purposes only.
