We are seeking novice or experienced glass painters to join our passionate and talented team. We are a fast-paced production studio located in Winona, MN – all applicants must be willing to relocate to the area.
We are seeking novices with an interest in learning the art as a Glass Painting Apprentice, as well as experienced painters for our Glass Painting Specialist position.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong drawing skills, with an emphasis on the human figure
- Proficient understanding of anatomy, color, value, composition, and perspective
- Process-oriented
- Attention to detail – quality and accuracy are critical
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to engage in constructive criticism
- Ability to work efficiently and stay on task during long periods of focus time
For a Glass Painting Specialist, Additional Skills/Abilities Needed:
- 3-5 Years Experience in Glass Painting
- Strong foundational skills in trace painting, matting, enameling, and silver staining
- Proficient in kiln operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Art training with an emphasis on drawing; additionally, experience in multi-step, hands-on media similar to printmaking, ceramics, woodworking, etc. is desired

Glass Painting Apprentice – $17-$21
Glass Painting Specialist – $50,000+ depending on skills
